Briefing: In 1999 Pentaship brought the municipal energy supplier Stadtwerke München and the Tollwood Festival to the negotiating table. Since then Pentaship is responsible for all processes of the cooperation.

Approach:
The Stadtwerke München´s maxim is based on sustainable and environmentally friendly investments in the infrastructure to protect nature which leads to a long-term relationship with its customers. To reach these goals SWM was looking for a partner with a wide range who stands for conservation and sustainability.

The Tollwood Festival with its approximately 1.8 million visitors per annum is both an international cultural festival and a forum for ecology and environmental awareness and therefore was the ideal partner for SWM.

With both partners we defined the objectives, benefits, return services (quid pro quo), a concept for the main Sponsor in the co-operation and negotiated a contract. Since then Pentaship accompanies the co-operation actively with efficiency control and the development of new ideas for communication.

Results: By sponsoring the Tollwood Festival the SWM has improved their awareness level at all relevant target groups emphasizing the quality and variety of all SWM products. With their energy saving campaign SWM communicates a responsible attitude towards their customers. The general campaign enables SWM the desired image transfer.
