Cultural Department Capital City of Munich
Briefing: “Crossing Munich. Places, pictures and debates of migration” is a research and exhibition project of the Kulturreferat Landeshauptstadt München in cooperation with the Institute for Ethnology, the Institute for Folklore /European Ethnology and the Historic Seminar of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich.
Approach: The Kulturreferat commissioned Pentaship with the marketing and financing. At first Pentaship conducted a classical analysis of the considered market segment focusing on the topical direction and the project´s attractiveness. Then Pentaship developed Sponsoring guidelines, a Sponsoring concept and a corresponding brochure presenting the complex cultural projects and the Sponsoring concept.
Results: Pentaship approached some 60 brands, foundations and enterprises and won over five as Sponsors: Generali Insurance, Loden Frey, Bezirk Oberbayern, Hoch Tief AG and Olympiypark München. In addition Pentaship contracted press partnerships with the BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk) and the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Thus the event was fully financed and extensive press coverage assured.
